While midsummer day is celebrated throughout Europe, many Lithuanians and Latvians have a particularly lively agenda on this day. The traditions include singing songs and dancing until the sun sets, telling tales, searching to find the magic fern blossom at midnight, greeting the rising midsummer sun and washing the face with a morning dew. These are customs brought from pagan culture and beliefs.
It would be a pleasure to see all of you on the 22nd of June in Dundalk Stadium from 11am.This way we could share our traditions and all have a wonderful day. Fun family fair for everybody!
