The Embassy of Lithuania invites you to the first Culture Night 2018 event
“In Between. On the way” at the Embassy of Lithuania.
You will have an opportunity to take part in workshops of traditional Lithuanian crafts: wood carving, twisting, twining and weaving techniques of producing Lithuanian sashes (wool woven national belt), traditional Easter eggs and paper cutting art.
Traditional folklore music, and dancing, Lithuanian poetry, documentary about Lithuania, and different snacks and sides together with locally made traditional Lithuanian bread will be as well.
Painter Jolita Jarutienė will be presenting her paintings revealing sophisticated mixture of emotions felt on the constant back and forth travel between her homeland and Ireland.
