On October 25, Klaipėda will become a true epicenter of Halloween adventures – the “AKROPOLIS Ladies Go Halloween Race” returns to the city! This is an entertaining city race in which everyone can participate – women, men and even children. This year, for the first time, the event will include not only car races, but also a pedestrian race.

Participants are invited to form teams of 2-4 people and embark on a fun journey through the city of Klaipėda and its surroundings. However, it will be a little easier for pedestrians.
All tasks and the route will be presented in the ROADGAMES interactive app – it will become a guide for each team, indicating the places to visit and fun tasks: identifying which photo matches the location, finding the correct answer, collecting diamonds, searching for a hot spot, and others for which points will be calculated. The team’s goal is to score as many points as possible.

This year’s novelty is a free walking race. It will take place only in the city, and the start and award ceremony will be held at the Klaipėda shopping and entertainment center “Akropolis”.
Those who want more action will be able to participate in traditional car races, where the most important thing is not speed, but ingenuity and team spirit! You don’t need to have a racing car or special preparation – all you need is a good mood and a desire to spend the day differently. The speed of the cars will be recorded, and if it is exceeded or if the traffic rules are not followed, penalty points will be awarded or even disqualification from the competition.

An important but not necessary highlight is Halloween costumes and appropriately decorated cars. The most interestingly dressed team will be awarded prizes, but you can also participate in casual clothes. Comfortable shoes are important, as you will have to move a lot.

“This race is a great opportunity to spend Saturday in a non-standard way, get to know the city better, get moving and, most importantly, have fun. It is very important that all participants move safely in the city and follow the Road Traffic Rules. The Ladies Go Halloween Race has always been full of emotions, and this year it is special – it is the fourth race held for the first time, but the last in this format. Next year, Ladies Go is expecting a lot of changes,” says Raimonda Jagminaitė, the organizer of the event and founder of the Ladies Go women’s driving movement.

This stage will also end this year’s HATE campaign, dedicated to the anniversary of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. It was organized together with the Druskininkai Municipality and promoted tolerance on the roads. During the race, stickers with the campaign phrases were stuck on the back of all cars: “HATE – a smile suits you better”, “HATE – I’m in space”, “HATE – it harms your beauty” and others.
