30 years ago, on the 23rd of August 1989, approximately two million people in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania joined their hands forming a 600 km long human chain across the three Baltic States, to demonstrate unity in the peaceful call for independence.
To commemorate this historic event, the LT/LV/EE communities in Ireland are invited to come together in Mayo on 23nd of August, 2019.
